The purpose of the hose reel is to offer a ready supply of water or other liquids, like saline or eyewash, for use in first aid or firefighting. Normally, the First Aid Hose Reel is mounted on a wall, usually in an obvious spot where it can be quickly reached in an emergency. In order to control the flow of water or solution, it also has a nozzle or spray gun.
Hosepipe used is 3 ply with two synthetic rubber layers and textile reinforcement approved to BS EN 694:2001 by LPCB.
Working Pressure 12 bar and burst pressure of 42 bar. The outer layer is protected with UV inhibitor to make it colour fast. Every Hose reel is hydrostatically tested for 18bar.
